OUR DESIGN PROCESS
The First Meeting
Our first consultation is likely the most significant one we will have. During this scheduled consultation, we want to familiarize ourselves with you. We would love for you to share your vision and design ideas with us from the very beginning. We will ask you a series of questions regarding your new home, including: What is the square footage of your new home? How many bedrooms will you have? What are the entertainment areas? What style of home will you be going for? What building materials will you be using? What is the layout of your site going to be? All of this will help us to get a better understanding of what you are looking for in your new home.
The Preliminary Design
At this stage, we use the information you give us to create preliminary drawings. These are the most eye-opening part of the process. We take all your ideas and turn them into floor plans that fit your needs. We'll then print out a printout of the floor plans and front elevation for you to look over. You can take the draft home to look over and make any changes you want. Once all the changes are made, we're ready to move into the The Final Plan phase.
The Final Plan
Once the final plans have been approved by you, we will begin the process of preparing your plans for construction. The final plans will include a site plan, foundation plan, floor plans(s), front elevation, right elevation, rear elevation, electrical layout, mechanical layout, plumbing layout, and construction information. At this stage, we would arrange a final meeting where we will provide you with any prints or files that may be required. The plans are then ready for permitting.
